Andrea
As a mother myself, I know it can be difficult to find time for self-care. It wasn’t until I sent my first kid off to college that I decided it was really time to focus on me. I’ve always been interested in learning about facial products, the ingredients, how they work together, and what they can actually do for you, and the anatomy of the skin. I scheduled a few facials, spoke with different estheticians, and realized this is what I wan to do! Two months later, I enrolled in the estheticians program at Tri-County Community College.
I love being able to educate clients on proper skin care, helping them establish a home routine, and scheduling out specific treatments to achieve the best results for each individual client. It is always so rewarding to see the immediate improvement on a client’s face, giving them a boost of confidence and revealing their luminous skin.
The most valuable lesson that I have learned in this field is that it is never too late to start taking care of yourself and your skin.
